Candor has been manufacturing surface heating elements for a wide range of applications for over 8 years and are an acknowledged leader in this field.

Ecowarmth’s Infra Red heating works on the same principle as the radiant heat from the sun and on the same wavelength (about 8 µ = Micrometer = 1000th of a millimetre), which is the most effective and healthiest wavelength for heating the human race! This wavelength belongs to the shortwave “Far Infra Red” spectrum and is used with very positive results in Wellness and Health areas.

Rather than just heating up the air of the room space to help people feel warm, Infra-Red heating mainly warms up the person (and the surrounding objects) without overheating the room air. Most people are aware of the usual Infra Red heaters, using heating bars as elements and often used in Bathrooms and other public places for swift direct heat. The BIG advantage of the Ecowarmth Infra-Red foil heating system is, that because of the larger surface area radiating out the heat, we need LESS Kilowatts. A typical Infra-Red heater uses 1.50 Kw - 2 Kw and covers a relatively small area. It is also too hot to get too close to and is often placed to radiate heat downwards.
